I studied philosophy at Université Laval, the Dominican Studium (Ottawa), as well as at Université de Louvain, where I earned a doctorate in philosophy on the basis of a study on Aristotle’s moral project.I have been teaching for several years at Dominican University College. My courses have a common focus: the human being, seen as an essentially rational being that evolves within a historical and cultural context. Humans are defined precisely by the pursuit of values (F. Dumont). What fulfills humans, what gives them happiness, is living according to a rationality that springs from their intelligence and their heart, and shapes a manner of conduct chosen for its richness and value. In addition to teaching at Dominican University College, I taught philosophy courses for three years at the Grand Séminaire de Montréal and gave sessions at the Institut de pastorale (Montréal), at UQAM as part of the teacher training program, and at the Sudbury diocese.
