How can I get a copy of my official transcript?

 

You can request a copy of your official transcript(s) in person at the Registrar's Office (Room 310). You can also fill out the transcript request form and submit it to the Registrar's Office (Room 310, registrar@dominicanu.ca).

 

Where can I see the courses offered?

 

You can use the Search Engine Tool to see all the courses offered, by faculty or by program.

Am I eligible to receive a financial aid?

You are eligible to apply for a bursary if you are a full-time student in good standings. Please view this page for more information pertaining to applying for internal and external bursaries and financial aid.

Does Dominican University College offer scholarships?

 

Dominican University College and its Foundation are proud to offer several scholarships to its students. Eligibility and requirements are different for each scholarship. More details are available on the Scholarships Page. Deferred payment of tuition fees is possible under certain conditions.

 

I have completed previous studies at another institution. Can I request a credit transfer?

 

Yes. The Registrar’s Office and the Faculty you are applying to will evaluate your request and determine if your previous courses can be accepted for credit at DUC. 

How can I know the status of my admission application?

 

The Registrar’s Office will communicate with you as soon as a decision has been made. Processing can take up to 3 weeks after reception of the file. Please only contact the Registrar's Office after that period (registrar@dominicanu.ca).

How can I get a copy of my T2202A form?

 

The T2202A forms for students who have been admitted are available at the Registrar Office (Room 310) after the last week of February.

I received an offer of admission, but I am not able to begin classes for the date I specified originally. Can I defer my admission to another start date?

 

Each admission is valid only for the term and the year specified. A new application is required.

Are all Dominican University College programs approved by OSAP for funding purposes?

 

Yes. Dominican University College and all its programs are fully recognized and funded by the Government of Ontario.

Is Dominican University College a university or a college?

 

The Dominican University College is a university accredited by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. It is a member of the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada, as well as of the Consortium des universités de la francophonie ontarienne and of the Association des universités de la francophonie canadienne. Though DUC is a university and offers university-level degrees, the word "college" is used to signify that there are less than 5 faculties at the institution.
