Student Accommodations

There are a number of options for student accommodations while studying at DUC. To help you decide which option is best suited for you, please contact us by email at welcome@dominicanu.ca.  

On Campus

Students studying at DUC can choose to live on campus at the Dominican Priory. Amenities include:

  • Individual living quarters
  • Shared bathroom/living room
  • Three meals (buffet style) per day
  • Access to the common rooms
  • Access to the library 
  • Free Internet (wifi)

Off-Campus

There are  many options for accommodations off-campus in rental apartments or houses in the area. To help you in your search for an apartment or roomate, please refer to the the following websites.

 

Women studying at DUC who would like to live in a faith-based community are invited to contact us directly at welcome@dominicanu.ca for more information. 

Carleton University residence rooms are also available for students upon request. Please send us an email at welcome@dominicanu.ca for more information.

Canada Homestay Network

DUC is partnered with the Canada Homestay Network. The Canada Homestay Network is a non-profit society that pairs international students with families in the Ottawa community.
